No irritation from a daily medal
I have worn religious medals my whole life and almost all of them leave me itchy and red within a day. This one I put on in April and have barely taken off since. My skin has stayed completely calm, even where the medal rests flat against my chest all night. Sweat normally sets my reaction off and I have worn it through workouts and a very hot June with nothing. No rash, no bumps, no dark mark on my skin. The medal went in the ocean daily
I wore the turquoise version every single day of a two week trip to Puerto Rico. Ocean in the morning, pool in the afternoon, rinse-off shower at night, then straight back on. The little beads around the medal are still exactly as bright as when they arrived, no chalkiness and no water marks. The medal itself has kept every detail crisp, right down to the lettering around the edge. I braced for the beads to dull or the wire to corrode and neither happened. Medal has not darkened one bit
Stamped medals are where plating usually wears through first for me, especially in the raised detail. I have had the multicolor one since February and it is still evenly gold across the whole face. No dark rims, no coppery shine coming through the high points, no dullness on the back. It has taken perfume, sunscreen, hairspray and months of sweat without any change. The beaded section has stayed just as clean, with no tarnish sneaking in between the beads. It genuinely looks like it did the day I opened it.
