Trio Bloom Bracelet

This has not left my wrist since April, which means daily showers, a lot of washing up and two weeks of sea swimming in June. Salt water is what usually gets into a doubled chain and dulls the inner strand, and both strands here are still identical in color. The three blooms have not spotted or clouded anywhere. The clasp still runs smoothly instead of getting gritty, which is what happened to my last bracelet after one beach trip. I rinse it under the tap and that is the whole routine. It looks exactly as it did the day it came.

Bracelets are the worst for me because they sit against the thin skin on the inside of the wrist and I usually come up in a rash within hours. This has been on since March with nothing at all. No redness, no bumps, no itching, even through hot weather and sweaty workouts. The box chain lies flat so it does not pinch or catch the skin either. I have slept in it every night without noticing it. Being able to wear a bracelet daily again has been a genuine relief.

Four months of constant wear and all three daisies are still the same warm gold as each other and as the chain. Uneven fading is what gave away every other plated bracelet I have owned. I wear this on my writing hand so it drags across desks and sleeves all day long. There is no darkening on the underside of the chain and no dull ring where the clasp sits. Hand sanitizer at work several times a day has not touched it either. Genuinely the best-wearing gold-tone piece in my drawer.

I bought this as a gift and the bracelet itself is lovely, no notes there. The little sleeve it arrived in didn't feel special enough to hand over. I repackaged before giving it.

The three flowers look beautiful and the chain has a lovely richness to it. On my quite narrow wrist it sits a bit looser than I expected, so it rotates now and then. Still gorgeous and I wear it most days.

It sits quietly beside my watch instead of knocking against it all day. No noise on calls and no scratching. Small detail, big difference.
