medallion swims with me weekly

I put this on the day it arrived and it has not come off since, including for two swims a week at the local pool. The coloured enamel behind the halo has not faded a shade and the crystals still sparkle exactly the same. I also wore it through a very wet week in Ireland where it was rained on constantly. Nothing changed at all. I have ruined pendants far more expensive than this in half the time. It handles water better than anything else I own.

first medallion my skin accepts

I have a drawer of religious pendants I cannot wear because the metal makes my chest break out in a rash within a day. I ordered this one hoping and honestly expecting to be disappointed. Four months on there has been no reaction whatsoever, even in high summer with the pendant sitting against damp skin. The back of the medallion is completely smooth so there is no rough edge to irritate anything. My mother has the same skin problem and I have already ordered her one.

gold halo has not gone brassy

The frame around the medallion is where I braced myself for trouble, since fine detail usually darkens first. Five months of daily wear later it is still the same rich warm gold. The back of the pendant, which sits right against my skin all day, has not discoloured either. Even the tiny links either side of the bail have stayed bright. I wear it under a shirt collar most days and expected rubbing to wear it thin by now. It simply has not happened.
