chain my neck actually tolerates
I cannot wear most necklaces for longer than an hour before the back of my neck goes red and itchy. This one has been on almost daily since June with nothing at all. Even in proper summer heat, when I am sweating under my hair, there is no irritation where the chain sits. The charms lie flat on my chest so nothing digs in either. I have started sleeping in it, which is something I have never done with any other piece.

charms went in the ocean daily
I wore this every day of a two week coastal holiday and never once took it off for the water. It swam, it snorkelled, it sat under a beach shower and then went out to dinner the same evening. Not one charm has dulled and the little stone still glows the same warm colour. I honestly bought it expecting it to be a one summer piece. Months later it is still my most worn necklace and looks untouched. Salt water is clearly no threat to it.

chunky links never went dark
Big links are where I always see tarnish first, right in the joints where they rub. I have worn this since early March and there is not a dark spot anywhere along the chain. The charms have stayed just as bright as the day it arrived, including the little loops that connect them. I laid it next to a much more expensive necklace I own and mine has aged noticeably worse. Whatever is on this finish, it is holding up far beyond what I paid.
