Star Stud Bracelet

I have a graveyard of bracelets that went brassy or green within a month, so I gave this one a proper test. It has been on my wrist since mid February with no breaks, including sleeping in it. Dishes, hand sanitizer at work, hairspray, sunscreen, gardening in the spring, all of it. I have never polished it or wiped it with anything special. The gold star is the exact warm tone it was in the photos and the silver band has zero dark patches, even in the grooves behind the studs. At this point I have stopped expecting it to turn, because clearly it just does not.

My skin reacts to almost everything and I usually get an angry red band within an hour of wearing anything metal. I ordered this expecting to return it and instead it has been on my wrist nearly every day since March. No itching, no redness, nothing at all, and that includes sleeping in it and wearing it damp after the shower. The stretch band actually helps because it does not pinch anywhere the way a tight clasp bracelet does. My daughter has the same skin problem and I ended up ordering her one too. It is the only bracelet in my drawer I can wear without thinking about it.

I bought this right before a week on the gulf coast and honestly expected to come home with a sad grey bracelet. It went in the ocean every single day, then the hotel pool, then straight into the outdoor shower with sunscreen and salt all over it. I never once dried it properly, I just left it on my wrist wet. Five days of that and the silver band was still bright and the gold star had not clouded even slightly. Back home it has kept going through dishes, the gym and my morning shower. This is the first bracelet I own that I genuinely never have to think about taking off.

Genuinely pretty bracelet and the two-tone finish looks far dearer than it was. The star itself is smaller than I imagined from the photos — lovely, just more subtle than I'd hoped.

The quality is fine and the stretch fit is comfortable. The star is a touch smaller in person than the photos imply, so the detail is subtler than I expected. Still a nice piece.

I left it on overnight without meaning to and woke up perfectly fine. It is thin enough that a pillow does not press it in.
