Silvia Earrings

I have a long history of angry, itchy lobes with anything larger than a tiny stud, so I ordered these expecting to return them. They have been in for entire weekends at a time and my ears have stayed completely calm. No itch, no redness around the hole, no soreness the following morning. I have worn them through long shifts, on two flights and while sleeping more times than I should admit. They are surprisingly light for the size so nothing drags on the piercing either. My sister has the same trouble and ordered a pair after trying mine on.

I swim laps four mornings a week and these have been in for every single one since March. The ribbing was my main worry because water sits in channels like that and usually leaves cloudy tracks behind. There is nothing at all, every groove is as clean and bright as the raised lines beside it. They have also been through daily showers, a spa weekend and a week of sea swimming on holiday. I rinse them under the tap when I remember and they come up looking freshly polished. Genuinely the least fussy earrings I have ever owned.

Textured jewelry usually goes dark down in the low points within weeks and then looks permanently grubby. Five months of near daily wear and the channels on these are exactly as gold as the ridges. Nothing has collected in them, nothing has gone shadowy, and the posts and backs have stayed bright too despite plenty of sweat. I keep them out on my dresser instead of in a pouch and bathroom steam has done nothing either. I did buy the silver ones as well and that pair has held its cool tone just as cleanly. No brassy patches anywhere on either.

Once they are in they are wonderful and I forget them entirely. The backs take a firm push to seat the first few times. They loosened up after a couple of weeks.

The earrings are excellent and I have no criticism of the pair at all. The packaging was very basic for something intended as a present. I transferred them into a box and it was fine.

The silver has not gone yellow or dull the way plated silver usually does on me. Still bright and clean after four months.
