Luna Mini Ring

My fingers react to almost everything, usually with an itchy red band underneath within a day. I put this one on cautiously and waited for the usual, and it never came. It has been on my middle finger nearly nonstop since spring, including while I sleep, and the skin under it looks exactly like the skin around it. No redness, no green marks, no itching even when my hands get sweaty in the heat. My sister with the same problem ordered one after seeing mine. It is a small thing but wearing a ring all day without thinking about my skin is new for me.

I bought this planning to take it off for showers and I have simply never bothered. It has been under hot water every single night since I got it, plus a week at a lake house where it went swimming twice a day. The wave still has that soft mirror finish it had in the box, no water spotting, no dull patches along the curve. I also wash my hands constantly at work and that has changed nothing about it. Honestly the only maintenance it has needed is a wipe with a soft cloth once, and that was because of hand cream, not the ring. For a band this thin I expected it to be fragile and it just is not.

Five months of daily wear and I keep checking the underside expecting to find that dark ring you get with cheap plating. There is nothing there. The gold on the wave reads exactly as warm as the day it arrived, including the inside of the band where it rubs against my other rings all day. I stack it with two plain bands and none of them have worn a dull stripe into it. I have had far more expensive rings go coppery in six weeks, so this genuinely surprised me. It has survived a very sweaty summer and a lot of hand washing without changing tone at all.

It is genuinely easy to forget on the finger, which is the whole point of a stacking ring. My only wish is that the sizing went a bit higher for my index finger. What I have fits nicely though.

I sanitize probably forty times a shift and that alcohol destroys most of my jewelry. This band has been through months of it. Still smooth, still warm gold, no flaking anywhere.

The design is exactly as pictured and it is a joy to wear. On me the seven has a little more play than I expected once my hands cool down. I would take the six if I were ordering again.
