Diva Earrings

Long chain earrings feel like the last thing you would swim in, which is exactly why I want people to know these handle it. I wore them on a coastal trip in June and by day two I stopped taking them out at all. Ocean swims in the morning, outdoor shower after, hotel pool in the evening, and a lot of sunscreen in between. Salt water got into every strand and I just rinsed them under the tap. Not one chain went stiff, dull or discolored and the little caps where they attach did not corrode. Since then they have been in every shower I take and they still swing and shimmer exactly like they did in the photos.

Fine chain is where cheap plating always betrays itself on me, because every single link has an edge that rubs. So I have been watching these closely since I bought them in February. They have been through hairspray at least three times a week, perfume right on my neck, sunscreen all summer, and daily showers. Every strand is still the same warm gold from the top cap all the way down to the last link. Nothing has gone dark, coppery or patchy, not even the links that sit against my jaw and get the most contact. I have never polished them and honestly would not know how to with this design. Five months and they still look new, which is genuinely the reason I keep buying from here.

Statement earrings and my ears have always been a bad combination. Either the weight makes my lobes ache by hour three or the metal turns them red and itchy, and usually both. These have been a completely different experience since I got them in March. I have worn them through full evenings out, all-day family events, and more than one occasion where I fell asleep before taking them out. No itching, no swelling, no soreness the next morning, and no sensitivity around the piercing at all. They are also much lighter than they look, so there is no dragging or drooping even after eight hours. I have worn them in summer heat when my skin usually reacts to everything and they have never once caused a problem.

Gulf coast humidity is brutal on jewelry. Three months of it and these are unchanged.

Beautiful earrings and the shine is exactly as pictured. They hang a little longer than I expected, so they suit hair up better than hair down.

Lovely to wear, light and swingy without any pull on the ear. The wait was around twelve days though, so plan ahead if you need them for a date.
