Butterflies went straight into the ocean

I wore these for ten days in Mexico and never once took them out. Sea water, pool, sunscreen, sweat, outdoor showers. The little butterfly and the blossom are both still bright and the chain between them has not gone dull anywhere. I honestly packed a backup pair expecting these to die on day three. They came home looking identical to how they left. Now they just live in my ears permanently. Best twenty-something dollars I have spent on earrings.

Sensitive lobes, no reaction at all

My ears usually go red and sore within a day of anything that is not surgical steel. I have had these in almost continuously since March with nothing but comfort. Butterfly gold has not gone brassy

Four solid months of daily wear and the gold tone is exactly what it was in the box. I have a bad habit of spraying perfume right onto my neck and ears and that has killed plated huggies for me before. No darkening at the hinge, no dull patches on the butterfly wings, no color change on the chain links. I wear them in the shower every morning without thinking about it. Even the inside of the hoop, where sweat sits, is still clean and bright. These have completely changed what I expect from plated jewelry.
