chunky links, no skin flare-up
Anything with this much metal touching my wrist normally leaves me itching by the afternoon. I have worn this most days since June and there has not been a single red patch. Even on hot days when it slides around on damp skin, nothing has irritated me. The links are all smoothly finished so there is no sharp edge anywhere along the inside. coil links came out of the sea
I wore this through an entire week on the Amalfi coast and never took it off for a single swim. Salt water, boat spray and a lot of sunscreen later, it came home looking exactly as it left. twists never went dark inside
The recesses between the coils are exactly where I expected darkening to creep in, because that is what happened to a similar bracelet I owned before. Five months of daily wear later there is not a shadow in any of them. The whole thing still reads as one even warm gold, front and back. I have worn it through a wet spring, a house renovation and a lot of washing up. The finish has simply refused to age on me.
