Agathe Necklace

My skin reacts to almost everything, and necklaces are the worst offender because the chain sits right against my collarbone all day. Usually I get a red itchy line within a few hours and have to take it off. This has been on for months with absolutely no reaction, not even after sweating through summer heat. No burning, no bumps, no dry patch where the clasp sits. My dermatologist has me avoiding nickel entirely and this passed without an issue. It's the first delicate necklace I've been able to actually live in.

Kept this on through an entire week at my parents' lake house and then a long weekend in Florida right after. Lake water, hotel pool, ocean, daily showers, and one very steamy sauna session at the gym. The little marquise stones still flash the same way they did the day it arrived and the chain hasn't picked up any dark spots near the clasp where water usually collects. Got caught in a downpour walking to dinner and didn't even think about taking it off. Every other delicate necklace I've owned would have looked sad and dull after a trip like that.

Ordered this in the middle of February and it has been around my neck almost every day since. The chain still has the same warm gold tone it had brand new, no fading at the back of my neck where sweat and perfume usually eat the plating first. Two thin necklaces I bought before this turned coppery within a month and one of them left a green stripe I had to scrub off. Nothing remotely like that here, even through a hot summer and a lot of workouts. The cross itself hasn't lost a single stone or gone cloudy in the settings. My sister assumed I'd upgraded to something from a jeweler.

The cross is genuinely beautiful, the marquise stones sparkle so nicely against the gold. I have a longer neck and even at the fullest setting it sits higher than I'd like. Still gorgeous and I wear it often with open necklines.

No complaints about how it wears, it lies flat and I never feel it. The delivery estimate came and went and it showed up over a week after I expected. Glad I ordered early.
