Aelia Earrings

My ears are a nightmare, I have a real nickel allergy and even so called hypoallergenic studs usually leave me red and itchy within a few hours. Got my second holes redone in April and my piercer said to stick with surgical steel, so I took a chance on these once I was healed. Not one flare up, not one itch, no soreness at the back of the lobe at the end of a twelve hour day. I've worn them through workouts and slept in them more than once and there's never any tenderness in the morning. My sister has the same skin issues and I already sent her the link.

Bought these back in February and I have worn them nearly every single day since, so we're talking five months straight. The gold is still the exact same warm tone it was in the box, no fading at the edges of the shells and no dull patches where they rub against my neck. For reference, the last three pairs of gold drops I bought from mall brands all went coppery within about a month and one actually turned my ear green. My mom asked if I'd had these professionally cleaned, which I have not, I just wipe them with a soft cloth maybe once a week. The little connecting rings between the shells are still tight too, nothing has loosened or twisted. At this point I'd buy a backup pair just to have one.

Took these on a ten day trip to the Outer Banks and honestly never took them off once. They went in the ocean twice a day, into the hotel pool with my kids, through the outdoor shower to rinse the sand off, and into the sauna at the resort gym. We also got caught in a downpour walking back from dinner and I didn't even think about it. When I got home and set them on the counter next to the pair I bought last year, the difference was embarrassing, mine were dull and these still had that warm mirror finish on all three shells. Genuinely the first earrings I've owned that I don't have to plan around.

The shells are beautifully detailed and they move so nicely. They do hang a bit lower than I pictured from the listing, so they brush my collar with high necklines. Still stunning and I wear them constantly in summer.

SPF 50 gets on everything at the beach and it usually eats the finish off my jewelry. These shrugged it off completely. Four beach weekends this summer and the gold is untouched.
